Bouldering Canada is dedicated to the growth of competition climbing in Canada. By bringing together the best climbers in the world for our athletes to compete against, we hope to raise the level of Canadian athletes, as well as participation and awareness of competition climbing in Canada.
Bouldering Canada Director Luigi Montilla has more than a decade of experience organizing climbing competitions across Canada, including putting on 10 National Championships. He is also the director of the Tour de Bloc, Canada’s longest running national climbing competition series.
Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) is the sanctioning body for competition climbing in Canada recognized by the IFSC and is a proud partner of the IFSC Climbing World Cup.
International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) is a non-governmental international association with a non-profit-making purpose of international interest. The principal purposes of the IFSC are the direction, regulation, promotion, development and furtherance of climbing competitions on a worldwide basis. The IFSC fosters links, networks, and friendly relations among its members, their climbers and officials.
